YWCA Princeton

YWCA Princeton serves over 5,000 people a year through its programs that include child care, the Breast Cancer Resource Center (BCRC), educational lectures, advocacy events, dance, arts, crafts, book clubs, seminars, wellness classes, and a Newcomers Club that welcomes participants from all over the world.   Its mission is to eliminate racism and empower women and is committed to achieving parity for women around the globe.    YWCA Princeton is interested in determining how to better serve the low-income, immigrant families that access the organization’s services in Princeton and Trenton; providing excellent childcare, expanding access to prenatal healthcare, and helping parents learn how to advocate for children in schools are all important topics.   Additionally, the organization wants to explore how it can expand upon the services the BCRC currently provides and how its advocacy efforts can be furthered.   Finally, the YWCA would like to carry out a marketing analysis study to get a clear picture of what the need for local infant and childcare is and project what it will be in the future.
